Who am I

I am Canadian (born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada) with a Jamaican heritage. As an adolescent and young adult my days were spent performing on stage, actively engaging in student government and leadership camps, and playing sports—the track was my second home…

My love of learning and appreciation of beauty and excellence have always been signature strengths. While I have always found “personal development” and “performance enhancement” captivating, the first time I experienced flow in sport (while triple jumping) changed me forever.

My inner sense of purpose became understanding and learning how to cultivate that awe-inspiring optimal mental performance state across various performance domains… and finding ways to share that with others. I succeed in that goal both as an established university lecturer and in my private practice.
